  • President Obama: Worst Economic Record since the Great Depression. This month will be 36 straight months of over 8% unemployment. Reagan only had 26 months of over 8%, and he had a worse unemployment peak (10.8%) to overcome. Garbage record. The worst possible.

  • He voted for the balanced budgets. Republican "party lines" in the late 90's were for balanced budgets. Those kind of party lines 60-70% of Americans support.

  • We can make the Bush tax cuts permanent, but only if we cut govt enough. The budget was within 160 billion of balancing in 2007 with the Bush rates, so maybe cutting 200 billion from the inflation adjusted 2007 budget would get us to balance.
